Reception for Collegiate Japanese Language Learners
On May 9, Consul General Himeno hosted a reception for New England college students who are studying Japanese. Students and teachers from 18 colleges and universities in the six New England states gathered at the Official Residence, where, following greetings from Consul General Himeno, they enjoyed lunch and conversation. The highlight of the afternoon was a tea ceremony, in which all participated, that was conducted by teachers of Urasenke Boston.
